My Story

Called to glorify Jesus

Greetings! I’m truly glad you’re here. My name is Jeannot Jourdain.

I’m happily married to my beautiful wife—my prayer partner, best friend, and the mother of our two beautiful daughters, Kianna and Jianna—Kettia Jourdain.

This journey began with me singing worldly music. During that season, I met a friend named Jude Senatus, who is now a Pastor/Evangelist in the Seventh-day Church. We worked together in producing, writing, and recording music before he was called into ministry to preach the living Word of God.

We also worked together on my first and second gospel albums, Jezi Sovè A and Gras Bondye. To God be the glory!

My life was changed for the better when I received a call into ministry—to use my voice to glorify God through singing. My heart desires nothing more than to glorify my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through the gift He gave to me.

I rejoice in knowing that a wretch like me can be used to share God’s amazing love and hope through songs inspired by His Holy Spirit.

I currently own Grace Lab Recording Studio along with this site, PraisingMyJesus.com, which came directly from Psalm 146:1–2.

Fun fact: I love nature and all God’s amazing work of creation.
